L visas are for intra-company transferees who, within the three preceding years, have been employed abroad continuously for one year, and who will be employed by a branch, parent, affiliate, or subsidiary of that same employer in the U.S

L1 B Visa Stamping Procedure
- Have an electronic photo of the applicant
- Fill up online visa application (DS 160) online. Website http://ceac.state.gov/genniv/
- Pay the visa application fee.
- Setup an appointment for the interview through www.ustraveldocs.com/in
- Appear in person for an appointment at the Offsite Facilitation Center (OFC)
- Visa interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate
- Returning the passport with visa by courier(If the visa is rejected ,passport will be returned across the interview counter)
Documents required for L1 B Visa stamping
- Passport - Old and New
- One photograph as per the specification
- Confirmation page of online submitted DS-160 Form with bar code.
- Visa Fees( Issuance Fee)
- Visa fee receipt
- Interview appointment letter.
- Three copies Form I-797( Notice of Action.)
- Form I-129 and letter from employer that describes your proposed duties.
- Letter from propective employer
- Original educational certificates along with mark sheets.
- Work experience letters from your previous employers that indicate your employment history, experience and skills
- Resume of the applciant with techincal skill and experiance
- Contact detail of the manger for the present and past job
- Contact detail of the two co workers for the present job
- Pay stubs from your current or last place of employment and a recent income tax return.
- A photocopy of each of the documents listed above.
- Photocopies of the first page, address page and last page of your current Passport
